African Penguins
Are they not the cutest creatures you have ever seen? Around the corner people are swimming with them at Boulders Beach. When they are basking in the sun they put their beaks in the air and make this funny noise. They are very docile and humorous to watch waddling from boulder to boulder. Cute! Sounds like the trip has been a blast so far. Keep up the great posts. Where are those sensible shoes when you need them, eh?
Family life goes on in PDX. Soren is King Oberon, king of the fairies, in his class play of Midsummer's Night Dream tomorrow night, we're going to try and make tuba xmas in pioneer square saturday, and Soren has a piano recital at Ethos on Sunday! Reuben is a cruising, crazy toddler, and we're all exhausted (though happy).

Ouma looks great - all the better for seeing you. I am so glad you could be with her.
